On Friday 19th June 2026 the Parish of Culmaine, along with Fr McManus' family and friends, came together for a special Mass in celebration of Fr McManus' 40th anniversary of his ordination to priesthood. Everyone enjoyed refreshments afterwards at the clubrooms at St Joseph's GAA grounds.

A heartfelt thank you to all who came together to organise last Friday evening’s celebrations. To the Organising Group, Parish Liturgy Group, Safeguarding, Finance Committee, Choir, Ushers, Readers, Lessons & Prayers of the Faithful, Eucharistic Ministers, Mass Servers, St Joseph’s PS, Ederney St Joseph’s GAA, the Catering Group, Ederney Community Development Trust, John & Cathal Irvine, Ann McFarland, our sacristans, Patsy Monaghan & Eileen Montague & her husband Vincent.
Thanks to all for your messages of congratulations and support and made my family, relatives and friends so welcome. To those who gave me cards, gifts and messages of support. Finally, thank you to all in the community who have been praying for me and who continue to pray for me. I have been blessed in my call to minister among wonderful people. May God bless you in every way.
